Joe Nix for 132nd District Representative

Welcome to my Web Page which I prepared for my CANDIDACY FOR STATE REPRESENTATIVE, 132ND LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT in the REPUBLICAN PRIMARY of TUESDAY, AUGUST 6, 1996

My Resume

THE COMMUNICATIONS REPRESENTATIVE is the knickname I would strive for if I get elected. I have all the desire but not the money to set up my van for mobile communications with ham radio, KB0RVB, tech licensee, packet, cellular, pager, CB, scanner, lap top, etc and some new computers at home and in Jefferson City. This would give me many more hours to communicate with the district and while AWAY FROM THE CAPITOL.

About 6 incumbent representatives including my opponent are friends of mine and they have told me about exercising caution in communications. It's hard to believe for some but politics is a dirty, nasty game and those with no morally and constitutionally based agenda often resort to 'dirty tricks'.

After the primary on August 6th I will be able to plan my next several months activity and I have a lot to say, plan, link, discuss and explain via this Web Page. I have shelves of research material, am linked with what I consider the best legislative, constitutional, historical and honest unmanaged news in the country.

I'm a prolific writer and plan to update this page frequently after the voters make their decision in the 132nd district, which is north of Broadway, east of Central in Monett, from Marionville to all of east Newton County and the south and west 1/4 sector of Mt.Vernon. A collection of precincts designated as the 132nd district in the '80's.

Thanks, Joe Nix
